1) Open whatsapp
2) click three dots that can you saw in right up side.
3) Now go to setting
5) go for the option of privacy
6) where you can see the Read receipt.
8) Remove the tick from it.
Now read receipt is off . If now anyone send you a message he can't be able to saw that you received the message or not.
If you want to enable just click on read receipt again and this feature will enable.
